What is the color of your heart,
I’m painting in the dark.
Are you a cheerful shade of spring,
A spiralling leaf of playful mirth,
To mother earth in olive brown.
Are you an arc of the brightest blue,
That warms my heart with magic mints,
In turquoise blue blend with teal.
Or are you off white like vanilla,
Your captivating smile a beautiful soul,
Like shimmering waters all that sparkles isn’t gold.
